Arch Global Services Philippines Software Engineer Interview Experience: Java, Spring Boot, and N+1 queries

The process began with an assessment containing two coding questions, then moved into technical interviews focused on Java and backend topics. In the first technical interview, we covered Java and backend fundamentals including microservices, Redis, and Java Streams, with additional DSA and coding questions mixed in. A later technical discussion reinforced how much they cared about Java and Sprin…

Arch Global Services Philippines Software Engineer Interview Experience: Java 8 and Spring Boot discussions

After recruiter outreach, I took an online assessment about a week later. It was more about algorithm practice than the role itself: two coding questions, one theory question, LeetCode-style thinking, and core algorithm concepts. I was also repeatedly prompted to be ready to discuss my projects. I then had two technical interviews. They covered Java 8 features, the Collections framework, Spring B…

Applied Materials Software Engineer Interview Experience: theoretical DSA and same-day coding

I first went through a technical round and a behavioral round. The technical part covered standard DSA and OOP, but it was a theoretical discussion of systems-design concepts rather than live coding. The behavioral conversation felt smooth and not stressful, and the questions were familiar. A couple of weeks later, I had two focused sessions on the same day. The first was a medium LeetCode-style…

Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services Software Engineer Interview Experience: 66% OA result

After applying, I moved to an OA early in August, and it got difficult quickly. The experience was genuinely bamboozling. It was not one question that threw me off. The whole assessment did. I finished at about 66% overall and did not progress. I did come away with a clearer picture of the next stage. The usual path after the OA was a loop of three rounds, about an hour each, with coding and beha…

Amazon DSP Software Engineer Interview Experience: Mid-60s score on the OA

The online assessment was the hardest gate for me. I had applied earlier in the summer and moved forward to the OA near the start of August. The coding questions threw me off. They did not seem impossible, but I struggled enough to score around the mid-60s overall, and that ended the process for me. From what I saw, people who cleared the OA went into a short, structured technical loop with codin…

Amazon Development Center U.S. Software Engineer Interview Experience: bamboozling OA and mixed loop

I started with an online assessment before moving into an all-live-interview loop. The OA was the first real shock. The questions did not feel impossible, but I got completely bamboozled and did not get far enough to move to the next step. The loop itself had about three rounds of roughly an hour each, mixing coding and behavioral questions. Coding felt easy to medium for me, but the behavioral s…

Amazon Advertising Software Engineer Interview Experience: three mixed coding and behavioral rounds

My process began with an online assessment. After it, I had a loop of three one-hour interviews. Each round mixed coding and behavioral questions, so I could not separate the technical work from the leadership conversations. The coding felt easy to medium for me, and the behavioral prompts were woven into the same sessions. I left with a strong sense of what they were evaluating: how I thought th…

Bain & Consultant Interview Experience: Profit-decline case and behavioral fit

After a recruiter-style HR conversation, I moved into interviews focused on performance as well as conversation. The HR portion lasted about half an hour and covered my background, fit for consulting, why I wanted the role, and working hours. Then I had a manager interview that combined a case drill with behavioral assessment. The case involved analyzing a profit decline and building an improveme…

Automatic Data Processing Account Executive Interview Experience: second video interview with a decision pending

I was still in the interview process when I shared this. A recruiter had contacted me, and I had completed an initial interview with a kind interviewer. My second conversation was a video meeting and felt like a normal next step. There was not much more detail beyond the process moving forward and being enjoyable so far. At that point, I felt positive enough to continue and comfortable rather tha…

Infosys Finacle Software Engineer Interview Experience: DevOps-focused managerial round

I moved past the first round and was invited to a face-to-face managerial round. It was different from what I expected. Instead of the front-end or back-end follow-ups I had prepared for, the in-person questions focused on DevOps. The difficulty was average, but the change in direction caught me off guard and I had to recalibrate my answers as we talked. I stayed engaged and tried to remain consi…

Infosys Finacle Software Engineer Interview Experience: Calm SAP ABAP round

I had a smooth technical interview focused entirely on SAP ABAP. It was an online round that lasted around 45 minutes, and the atmosphere was calm and manageable. The questions centered on internal tables and RFC, including how they connect at the database level. It did not feel designed to catch me off guard. The point seemed to be whether I understood the ABAP concepts they cared about, and I l…

Infosys Finacle Software Engineer Interview Experience: Salesforce permissions and Apex testing

My virtual technical interview ran about 20 to 30 minutes and was focused and demanding. Most questions were Salesforce-specific rather than generic coding. I discussed configurations, flows, and the structure of test classes. They also asked about Apex batch classes, including what they are, their methods, and why queueable classes are preferred in some cases. Scheduled classes came up too, alon…

Kimley-Horn Software Engineer Interview Experience: MEP heat transfer and fluids discussion

After a recruiter screen, the process felt almost effortless. Soon afterward, I had a relaxed technical-style block that lasted about 1 to 2 hours and involved several interviewers. Most of the conversation was about my background, how my past experience connected to the role, and the technical skills I had actually used. For the MEP track, the discussion focused heavily on heat transfer and flui…

MDA Software Engineer Interview Experience: Reading and testing Python code

The interview began with a recruiter-style conversation. It included behavioral questions, quick trivia from my CV, and why I was interested in the company. Then it moved to Python. I had to analyze an existing piece of code, explain what it did, and verify it by testing it. After walking through the code's behavior, I ran the tests and explained what I found. The interview was direct. It was les…

ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer Interview Experience: promised phone interview that never happened

After the recruiter started arranging a phone interview, the company went quiet. The recruiter said they would set up the next step, but it never happened. The difficulty was described as very difficult, although the larger issue was not the technical bar. It was the lack of professional follow-through. I never reached a meaningful later stage because the process did not continue. I was not selec…

ACI Worldwide Software Engineer Interview Experience: OOP, DBMS, and motivation

I began with an introduction conversation about what the company does and what the role involves. It felt more like a fit check than an interrogation because they asked about my interests and details from my personal background. The next step was a technical round on fundamentals. I was asked theory about OOP and DBMS, implementation questions about interfaces, and some data-structures topics. Th…

Accenture in India Software Engineer Interview Experience: spaced system-design discussions

I went through three interviews: a recruiter call followed by two technical rounds. The recruiter was very communicative, but the technical interviews were more about system-design-style discussion than hands-on coding. The pace also stood out. There was roughly one to two weeks between each step, so it felt stretched out rather than like a sprint. After the process, I had a phone call with the r…

ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer Interview Experience: GenAI coding to DSA and system design

My process began with an OA that included a hard LeetCode-style problem. The second round was a GenAI-related coding interview. After that came a technical screen with a high-level medium LeetCode question and leadership principles. The final loop was more DSA-heavy. It had three DSA questions followed by a system design round, so the last stage tested both algorithmic work and design thinking. I…

About a month after I applied online, I received an email invitation saying the process would take around two hours. It combined a technical test with a face-to-face interview. My impression was that they wanted to assess both capability and how I ca…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
