ServiceTitan Account Executive, cold outreach role-play

My interview process started with a recruiter conversation, followed by a second round that focused on how I handled the sales discussion and the details behind it. After that round, I heard nothing. I followed up with the recruiter and still got no response, so it felt like I was ghosted after investing time in the process.

The role-play case study focused heavily on outbound behavior, even though the role had been presented differently. The scenario was closer to a cold-call exercise for a representative who would usually handle demo requests. The role and expectations didn't seem to match, and I left the round feeling thrown off rather than evaluated.

In another similar process, the early steps were followed by a second interview dominated by production and metrics questions. The conversation focused on those numbers and specifics, and the interviewer came across as stubborn without a clear reason. Along with the outreach-heavy role-play and the lack of follow-through after round two, the process felt rigid and confusing rather than thoughtful.

Location: Chicago, IL. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: No offer.
