ServiceTitan Customer Success Engineer: recruiter screen ended after twenty minutes

My recruiter screen started badly and never recovered. The questions were fairly basic for customer success, including how many accounts I’d managed and a scenario involving an escalation and churn risk I’d handled. The recruiter spoke extremely fast and seemed focused on specific keywords instead of trying to understand me.

I had little room to ask questions, and the call ended early, after about twenty minutes, when the recruiter said their laptop was going to die. It was obvious that the goal was to finish quickly rather than genuinely connect or evaluate fit. I followed up after I didn’t hear back, but I never received a response.

Overall, the process felt rushed, superficial, and discourteous. I didn’t move forward, and it was hard to shake the feeling that candidates weren’t being taken seriously.

Location: Canada. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: No offer.
