ALTEN México Software Engineer Interview Experience: HR call followed by four postponed manager interviews

After my Almalaurea profile was reviewed, HR contacted me. We had a straightforward introductory call where they explained the main information and context. Then we tried to schedule an interview with the business manager. That step became the problem. The business-manager interview was postponed four times because the manager could not find availability, and it never happened. It felt strange be…

ALTEN Belgium Software Engineer Interview Experience: Four steps from recruiter to contract

After the recruiter stage, the process followed a clear four-step rhythm. It began with a short introductory call about my background and fit. About a week later, I had a semi-technical remote interview that assessed how I could operate in the role without trying to trap me. Next came a more complex remote technical interview with the client. It was more serious and detailed but remained professi…

ALTEN Belgium Software Engineer Interview Experience: business manager interview never happened

The process began with HR reviewing my profile, contacting me, and arranging an introductory call. That conversation covered the basics and gave me the main information about the role and process. I was then scheduled to meet the business manager. The frustrating part was the scheduling. The business manager interview was postponed several times because of the manager's commitments, and it ultima…

Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services Software Engineer Interview Experience: two 30-minute DSA questions

I hit a heavy DSA gate early. I was given two DSA questions with 30 minutes for each one. The round moved quickly, and as soon as I reached the first problem, I realized I was not going to get through that stage. Beyond writing code, I was asked about the time complexity of my solutions and how I would optimize them. That made it difficult because a working solution was not enough. They also want…

Amazon Advertising Software Engineer Interview Experience: Two timed DSA questions

I was given two DSA questions with 30 minutes for each. As I worked through them, I was also asked about the time complexity of my solutions and how I could optimize them. I did not make it past the first round, so I could not continue further. The difficulty felt high mainly because the timing pressure gave me little room to recover when a solution did not click as quickly as I wanted. No offer…

Attentive Software Engineer Interview Experience: role closed after the phone screen

I started with an initial phone screen. After that, I expected a fairly standard sequence: a second round with coding and system design, a third round with more of the same assessment, and then a meeting with the team. The role closed before the process could get that far, so I never reached those later rounds. It left me feeling as though the interview process was just about to expand, and then…

ALTEN Technology USA Software Engineer Interview Experience: business-manager postponements

I started with a recruiter conversation about my background and what would come next. The process then moved toward a business-manager meeting about my experience, skills, learning, and fit for projects. In the easier versions of the process, I didn't see a deep technical evaluation. It felt more like checking alignment with the profile and overall motivation. The usual sequence was an HR call, a…

Alten Spain Software Engineer Interview Experience: Business meeting postponed four times

After they reviewed my profile through Almalaurea, HR contacted me for an introductory call and explained the main information. A meeting with the business manager was then arranged, but it was postponed four times because of commitments and ultimately never happened. Overall, the process seemed simple and mainly bureaucratic. They appeared to be checking whether I fit the profile without asking…

Alten Software Engineer Interview Experience: business manager meeting repeatedly postponed

After an initial review of my profile, HR contacted me for an introductory call that mainly collected the basic information. They scheduled an interview with the business manager, but it was postponed several times and eventually did not happen. The atmosphere felt relaxed and more about alignment than a concrete evaluation. Rather than deep technical questions, I had the impression that they wan…

Msft Software Engineer Interview Experience: organized fit, collaboration, and technical-depth loop

After connecting with the recruiter through LinkedIn, I began with a screening call about my background and interest in the role. Once that went well, I moved into a deliberately paced loop with clear communication about the next steps. The early interviews focused on fit and collaboration before going deeper technically. A hiring-manager-style discussion covered my leadership approach, prior exp…

ALDO Group Account Executive Interview Experience: helping a customer choose shoes

After a simple start, I had a friendly video or in store conversation with a store manager. It was relaxed, and I had time to ask questions, but it was still structured enough that I understood what they wanted. We discussed the role, the day to day work, why I wanted the position, and why I was leaving my current job. The manager also asked how I would handle an upset customer or help someone ch…

TransPerfect Project Manager Interview Experience: proofreading test and friendly interviews

I applied and moved through the process from July 13 to August 6. It stayed friendly throughout. After a recruiter call of about 20 minutes, I took a written proofreading test that lasted around two hours. Then I had a 50-minute online interview with the hiring manager and a department lead. The questions were relatively easy and aligned with the role. The final step was a roughly 40-minute in-pe…

Société Générale Software Engineer Interview Experience: Git, Java, and Spring Boot scenarios

The interview began like other technical discussions. I introduced myself, explained the domain I had worked in, and talked about projects I wanted to showcase. The interviewer then moved to scenario-based questions tied to engineering foundations. The questions covered Git, Java, and Spring Boot. They stayed grounded in practical work instead of only theory. The difficulty was average, and it di…

Société Générale Software Engineer Interview Experience: concurrency and the Saga pattern

The interview focused on technical questions about concurrency and reliability. The conversation also covered microservices, particularly the Saga pattern and fault tolerance. It was more about working through system behavior than reme…

Accenture in India Software Engineer Interview Experience: offer within one week

The process was smooth and quick. I received an offer within a week after the interviews, so waiting was not an issue. The interviewer also made expectations clear, which made it easier to stay aligned during the conversation. The difficulty was average and never overwhelming, but the process still felt well run. Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Software Engineer Interview Experience: Values and networking basics

The process was long and included both an HR screen and an in-person component. The HR conversation focused on values, and the interviewer kept returning to how I think about those fundamentals rather than moving straight into technical questions. The technical side covered computer-science basics and several computer-networking questions. The pace was more intensive than I expected, but the over…

A healthcare technology Software Engineer Interview Experience: unclear required in-person HR step

I got far enough to be told that I needed an HR discussion, but the requirement was confusing. It sounded mandatory to do it face to face in a specific location far from my hometown. I started the process in July and it initially seemed promising. I cleared the assessment and technical rounds and was told a client interview would be scheduled. My process had four rounds: a group discussion, an online technical assessment, a technical interview, and an HR interview. A recruiter told me I was moving forward and that an invitation for the first interview was coming. Before that, they sent questions in advance, and I answered everything. As far as I knew, none of those responses was a problem. The process then ended with a rejection email that gave no explanation or feedback. That lack of communication was the hardest part, especially because I had been told to…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
