Capgemini Consultant interview: pharmaceutical validation scenarios

I had a demanding, consulting-style process with two face-to-face rounds. Both interviewers were professional and interactive. They concentrated on technical expertise, problem solving, and my real project experience, going deep into the role instead of staying theoretical. The part I remember most was the scenario discussion around pharmaceutical validation and digital quality systems. They aske…

AstraZeneca Research Scientist interview: five rounds in China

I went through a structured five-round process. It started with a recruiter screen with HR, conducted in Chinese because the role was based in China. About a week later, I had an informal 30-minute conversation with the hiring manager that felt more like a chat than an interrogation. The next panel round had me present a past project and answer questions from people who seemed to represent my pot…

Apple Machine Learning Engineer interview: smooth and rushed flows

My smoother interviews began with a technical phone screen, then a comfortable, practical DSA-style round. It included a regression-model critique and a subset-sum-style problem. I had recently worked through similar problems, so those patterns were already familiar. I then had a codebase-style evaluation around PDF evaluation logic. The structure felt familiar because I had previously reviewed t…

Agoda Software Engineer interview: a moderate online assessment

My first major step was an online assessment with multiple-choice and DSA questions. It felt moderate rather than brutal, and I solved most of what I saw, so it came across as reasonably straightforward. I finished feeling that it was a solid fundamentals test instead of an obscure trick. I did not receive an offer, but it still seemed like a fair, well-scoped online screen. My performance mostly…

Accenture España Consultant interview: practical SAP FICO work

I went through a technical, SAP-focused process. The interviewer went into SAP FICO topics such as group reporting and central finance, and the discussion required real problem solving instead of staying theoretical. Case studies asked me to analyze a situation and explain it technically. Business-process knowledge also mattered. I was asked about the Order-to-Cash cycle: sales-order processing,…

Adyen Software Engineer interview: unclear final communication

My interviews lasted a while, and the technical work was not the part that stayed with me most. I began with recruiter screening, then went through several rounds with technical discussion followed by leadership or manager-style conversations. At one point I was told I would be brought to the Amsterdam office for a leadership interview. That final round felt inconsistent with what I had shown ear…

Industry-Leading National Security Consultancy Software Engineer interview: quick offer

The process was quick and simple: one behavioral interview of about 30 minutes. It felt easygoing, and I had time to ask questions instead of watching the conversation race by. An offer arrived about 15 minutes after the interview. The whole experience felt smooth, and I left with the impression that they were organized and responsive. Getting an offer almost immediately made this feel unusually…

Industry-Leading National Security Consultancy Software Engineer interview: core fundamentals

The interview leaned heavily on core engineering fundamentals. Data structures and algorithms were part of the technical work, but computer networks and operating systems came up too. The overall emphasis felt closer to cybersecurity-adjacent fundamentals. The DSA questions were medium difficulty. That mix changed the pacing for me: algorithm practice alone was not enough, because I also needed t…

Ford Hospital and Research center Software Engineer interview: a long timeline

The hardest part was the timeline. About three months passed between my application and the rejection email, and the process kept changing as it went. I started with a recruiter discussion and then a brief meeting with the hiring manager. Next came a panel with the hiring manager and two engineers. They later brought me in person for another interview, returned to my resume, and had me solve prob…

Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services Software Engineer interview: practical coding

I had a shorter, fairly direct process with two to three rounds that combined behavioral discussion and lighter technical work. The behavioral round checked Bias for Action, my fluency with GenAI ideas, and how I handle troubleshooting situations. The coding round was more about practical problem solving than deep systems work. Most of the coding was easy to medium LeetCode-style material. I reme…

Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services Software Engineer interview: panel loop

My process began with an online assessment that combined a leadership-principles-style behavioral component with coding. After I passed, I moved into a back-to-back, in-person-style interview loop, and the number of perspectives on the panel was immediately noticeable. The hiring manager started with behavioral questions tied to Leadership Principles and a deep look at my background and projects.…

Amazon DSP Software Engineer interview: GenAI and debugging

The loop put GenAI alongside the usual Amazon evaluation. One troubleshooting conversation was framed around leadership principles such as Bias for Action, and another tested my GenAI fluency. A separate round went back to traditional coding, where I had to show a structured approach while tying my answers to leadership principles. One technical portion was not a simple blank-page coding exercise…

Software Engineer interview at Amazon DSP: interview experience

I had four interview rounds, each about an hour long, with people from different countries. The sessions were respectful and organized, mixing technical material with behavioral evaluation. Amazon Leadership Principles were central, and I needed concrete examples rather than general statements. The loop included several DSA-focused rounds with leadership-principle questions throughout. There was…

Software Engineer interview at Amazon Development Center U.S.: interview experience

The loop had several distinct themes, and it was clear what each interviewer was assessing. Multiple technical rounds began with troubleshooting and GenAI fluency, then moved into coding problem-solving and the DSA-style reasoning Amazon looks for. Later rounds became more behavioral and principle-based. A hiring-manager-style discussion covered earning trust, learning curiosity, and operational…

Software Engineer interview at Amazon Advertising: interview experience

The process had three stages and placed Amazon leadership principles alongside coding. I did not complete the first stage. It began with two coding questions under set time limits and then moved to a workstyle assessment. The later format, as I understood it from the process, involved one or two technical rounds with DSA-heavy problems and leadership-principle prompts throughout. In my own DSA-fo…

Software Engineer interview at Avanade: interview experience

The first round went smoothly. The interviewer was responsive and the conversation felt good. The second technical round was much more intense, with fast problem-solving questions. In one version of that round, I had to create a function on the fly while answering nearly fifty questions. That technical stage also included case-style scenarios and live testing. Account Executive interview at Attentive: interview experience

The intended process was recruiter screen, hiring-manager round, VP screen, and panel presentation, but my own process ended after the hiring-manager call. I did not reach the later stages. That manager interaction threw me off. She did not build rapport and came across as stand-offish, as though she was checking boxes. The process was direct and pleasant in its interactions. I was mainly asked to discuss my skills, with a clear aim of understanding what I could do and matching my experience to a possible role. The interview was welcoming and conversational from the start. The interviewers gave me room to discuss my background, technical knowledge, and career goals. Consultant interview at Flight Centre Travel Group: interview experience

The process was light-touch and felt more like a quick check than a large recruitment campaign. After applying, I had a short recruiter phone call about whether I had the confidence and energy they wanted. The questions stayed high level. I then joined a Zoom call with a few role-related questions about whether I could do the job day to day. There were not many hurdles, and the tone was calming r…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
