Account Executive interview at SHI International: interview experience

The process moved quickly and had a clear structure. I started with a recruiter conversation, then met hiring managers by video. It ended with a role-play presentation meant to resemble the day-to-day work of the role. The role play was the hardest part. The team was professional and clear about expectations, but doing it demanded more than I expected. I still appreciated getting feedback as the…

Research Analyst interview at International Enterprise Organisation: interview experience

After a recruiter-style first chat, I had an online interview that was genuinely pleasant. The interviewer kept the exchange moving with quick back-and-forth questions, but it never felt like a grilling. It was a friendly conversation, with follow-ups about my past experience and expertise that seemed intended to understand how I had actually worked. The pace and responsiveness stood out. The que…

Business Analyst interview at Intercontinental Exchange: interview experience

After an HR screening call, I had a first interview of about 45 minutes with two interviewers, followed by a similar second round. Early questions focused on how I would work day to day: bridging technical and business groups, managing stakeholders, keeping documentation clear, and handling behavioral situations in that environment. The next stage was a longer in-person session expected to last a…

Consultant interview at McKinsey &: interview experience

Overall, I had a positive experience, although one part bothered me: I had to take an online numerical test. I understood it as a screening tool, but in 2026 it felt somewhat outdated. Apart from that, the process went well and I kept a good impression through the stages. I received an offer in the end, despite the friction of that numerical assessment. My reflection is simple. I could see the va…

Software Engineer interview at Josh Technology: interview experience

The OA and early coding stages made this feel grindy. The preassessment was harder than similar practice sets I had seen, especially because it had many graph questions. I had to code strictly in JavaScript, which narrowed the way I could approach the problems. The rounds covered basic concepts and hands-on coding. I was asked about infix and postfix notation, a task to find the least value in a…

Software Engineer interview at JOHN LEONARD: interview experience

I applied online and waited about a month before anything happened. I was then sent a HireVue link for an asynchronous interview with quick behavioral prompts and a small coding component. Later, a technical recruiter scheduled a 30-minute conversation about role details and next steps, followed about a week later by a hiring-manager scheduling link. The later rounds focused on the team’s stack r…

Consultant interview at Migso-Pcubed: interview experience

The process opened with a presentation I prepared in advance from a slide deck they asked me to bring. While I presented, we discussed it and they asked questions, so it stayed interactive rather than becoming a monologue. After the deck, they introduced the company and we continued with Q&A. The session ended with feedback from each person and information about whether I would be invited to the…

Software Engineer interview at Ltimindtree: interview experience

The process had three straightforward rounds: an online assessment, a technical interview, and HR. The assessment mixed aptitude, logical reasoning, and coding practice, setting the tone for the rest of the process. The technical conversation focused on Python and problem-solving. It was more about how I approached coding than memorizing tricks, and it stayed interactive. The difficulty was avera…

Software Engineer interview at Lam Research: interview experience

I started with recruiter or HR contact, then met a manager and a peer. At the onsite, I presented slides as part of the process, and there was also a panel interview. Across those conversations, the questions centered on my previous experience and how it might transfer to the role. The structure felt standard: discuss my background with the manager and peers, then use my slide deck to anchor the…

Account Executive interview at Klaviyo: interview experience

I spoke with a recruiter and then had a couple more rounds. A website laid out what each stage involved, which helped because I could prepare from a clear structure rather than guess what came next. The conversations assessed fit and how I would work across teams. They started more behaviorally and became more technical as the process went on. The interviewers were collaborative and respectful, a…

Software Engineer interview at Perk: interview experience

After recruiter outreach, I had a short HR call, but the recruiter moved quickly from question to question without much engagement or follow-up. The technical part was roughly where I expected it to be. After I finished, though, I received no feedback or clear yes-or-no answer, and my follow-ups went nowhere. I had been told to expect an email within a week if I progressed, but weeks passed witho…

Site Reliability Engineer interview at Nutanix: interview experience

The technical interview was grounded in SRE essentials. I was asked about Linux commands, virtualization, operating-system and computer-network concepts, as well as my resume and projects. The questions kept returning to core computing knowledge rather than anything flashy. The overall difficulty felt average, but it still tested whether my knowledge was solid. I made some mistakes because I was…

Software Engineer interview at NBCUniversal Advertising Products & Solutions: interview experience

After the exam, I went through a college-placement-style process with three interview rounds and an HR step. The second round felt most like an on-the-spot test because it combined basic programming questions with a few puzzles. The other rounds were more introductory. The flow was straightforward for me, and I felt able to answer what each interviewer asked. Location: Thanjāvūr. Overall feedback…

Software Engineer interview at Qualys: interview experience

The first technical interview mixed front-end and back-end fundamentals. React and Redux came up with Node.js, along with an output-style coding question, basic DSA, and at least one question about my project experience. The next technical round stayed in that territory with Java coding, SQL queries, design patterns, resume questions, and more React, JavaScript, and Node.js. What made the process…

Account Executive interview at Plangrid: interview experience

After recruiter outreach, I had two interviews. The first was virtual and straightforward: I answered written questions that appeared during the session. The second was a panel conversation with two people, both of whom were friendly. By the end of the panel, I could tell the role was not right for me. The rejection did not surprise me, and I was at peace with it. The whole experience was polite…

Software Engineer interview at Palo Alto Networks: interview experience

I started with an online assessment and then had three virtual technical rounds. The first was a system-design-and-coding-style prompt where I implemented a solution. It soon turned into debugging existing code to fix a bug, with the focus on making the code work under constraints rather than on theory. In the final round, I had to modify the code again in an object-oriented way, changing both it…

Software Engineer interview at Ntt Data Europe & Latam: interview experience

After a recruiter call, I went through two technical discussions and then an assessment round. It was professionally run and technically grounded, with interviewers who seemed clear about what they were asking. The process did not feel chaotic or excessively difficult. It felt like a fair test of how my experience matched the role. The tone stood out as much as the content. I felt comfortable fro…

Software Engineer interview at NTT DATA: interview experience

I went through two technical discussions and one assessment round. The structure seemed meant to confirm that I could do the work rather than repeat buzzwords. The technical conversations followed my resume in a natural way, and the assessment did not feel like a gotcha. I felt the interviewer…

Software Engineer interview at Northrop Grumman: interview experience

A quick recruiter touchpoint confirmed my background and interest, then I moved into a relaxed virtual interview with the team. It was low-pressure even while live. The interviewers seemed more interested in understanding my work than testing me, and I had room to discuss my resume and ask what the job looked like day to day. The questions were mainly behavioral and experience-based. They asked a…

Account Executive interview at Northwestern Mutual: interview experience

The interview felt more like a sales pitch than a structured evaluation. The company spent a lot of time on its own story and differences, while I had little room to explore my experience. There were personal questions about my life and connections, and I felt they were trying to work out who I knew. The conversation kept returning to my network and the people I could contact. Even standard inter…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
