Dell Tech Laboratories Software Engineer interview

After an online assessment, I went through four rounds: two technical discussions, a managerial or technical discussion, and HR. Clearing each stage felt necessary to stay in the process. The technical interviews assessed my engineering approach and fit. The managerial or technical conversation added how I would think with broader ownership and cross-functional responsibilities. I received an off…

ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer interview: ML fundamentals and a second-round HR discussion

The process was compressed into two rounds: a technical assessment followed by HR. The technical stage covered ML concepts and core computer-science fundamentals, and I was told the difficulty was medium to hard. HR mixed discussion of my resume and projects with questions about how I work and communicate. Across both rounds, they checked whether I could back up what I had written, especially on…

Super Micro Computer Software Engineer interview: graphs, trees and a bar-raiser round

The loop ran over a couple of days with back-to-back rounds that mixed behavioral prompts and technical depth. In one virtual session, I was asked about data-center-style work. The panel seemed to include people from manager through principal and staff roles. The technical questions covered strings, graph and array problems, linked lists, and binary search trees. One round focused on graphs and a…

Vanta Software Engineer interview

After talking with the recruiter, I had a phone technical screen. It began with a simple conditional or if-else problem, then moved to a BFS-style graph traversal question. I later had a couple of onsite rounds split between coding and system design. The difficulty ranged from average to high. What stayed with me was the scheduling: the interviewers arrived a little late, then seemed rushed to re…

Supermicro Software Engineer interview: take-home coding and two design questions

Recruiter coordination led to a structured process over a couple of days. The questions mixed situations and behavioral discussion, so fit and communication mattered as much as technical depth. After the initial screen, I completed a take-home LeetCode-style assessment and a live coding interview. Then I had a system-design round with two design questions and a behavioral interview about collabor…

Supermicro Software Engineer interview: assessment test cases and behavioral follow-ups

After applying, I completed an online assessment with four test cases in the first part and seven in the second. Then came coding and leadership-focused interviews. One coding round covered graphs and arrays, another covered linked lists and binary search trees, and the bar-raiser felt harder than the earlier rounds. I also heard another version of the overall flow: an OA with two coding pieces,…

the LEGO Group Software Engineer interview

After I applied, the interviewer explained the role and asked about my current work. The rest was light and conversational, mostly a couple of phone or Zoom interviews about my background and how the work would fit. For a software-engineering process, it felt unusually smooth. Being able to speak clearly about my experience and how I work was enough to carry the conversations. Nothing dragged or…

Zoho Software Engineer interview

The first stage was a screening-style test with basic MCQs, aptitude questions, and code snippets. The next stage was gated: failing to finish one section ended the process, so finishing mattered as much as solving perfectly. I then had an LLD round where I did not write code. Instead, I explained what I would build, how I would structure it, and the cases and components I would consider. The tec…

AMD Software Engineer interview

I started with a hiring-manager call about my background and the work I had done day to day. The rest was panel-heavy: several interviewers in each session, mixing technical problem solving with technical fit. The whole process came to about six rounds, starting with recruiter screening, then the hiring manager, followed by detailed technical discussions based on my experience. The difficulty was…

Akamai Software Engineer interview

I applied through the website and heard from HR. They arranged a Zoom-style interview, and I later met with the hiring manager. After that hiring-manager interview, the process went quiet. I followed up but never heard back. The early steps seemed standard, yet there was no closure afterward. If the decision was a rejection, I would have preferred a clear response. Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo. Overal…

Amazon Software Engineer interview

This was an online virtual loop focused on data-center work, with several rounds over a couple of days. Each round mixed situation-based and behavioral prompts with technical discussion relevant to that environment. The interviewers ranged from manager to principal and staff engineer. The individual questions felt average in difficulty, but the multi-day schedule and seniority of the interviewers…

Walmart Global Tech Software Engineer interview: Java design and a virtual onsite

After a recruiter call, I went through a coding assessment, two technical and behavioral rounds, and a larger virtual onsite. The sequence felt structured. The assessment started with a medium array problem that needed LeetCode-style DSA thinking. Later discussions focused on Java, including SOLID and common design patterns. I also had a high-level design conversation about a Zomato-like system.…

Amazon Software Engineer interview: coding, repository debugging and two design questions

My online assessment combined coding with questions about how I work. It included classic coding problems and AI-assisted project or debugging prompts where I traced issues through a realistic repository. There was also a leadership or fit component and a substantial system-design element. By then, I could see the assessment covered much more than standard LeetCode questions. Next came a recruite…

Hudson River Trading Software Engineer interview

After a recruiter screen, I entered a long technical process centered on a take-home. The lack of feedback was difficult. I spent hours trying to meet the expected behavior without useful checkpoints. The RTL and verification assignment was ambiguous. I adapted my scoreboard to match the buggy RTL behavior, even though I thought a model should stay more abstract and respond only to the specified…

Oracle Health Software Engineer interview: four interviews and a two-week offer

The process felt well organized. Some of it was technically challenging, but I never felt completely lost. After a recruiter conversation, I moved through a sequence that added up to four interviews. The discussions were professional and engaging, progressing from core coding to broader engineering questions. I worked through a live LeetCode-style algorithms and data structures question. Tata Consultancy Services (North America) Business Analyst interview

I had a technical round, then a management round, followed by HR. The stages felt connected: if the technical and management conversations went well, HR would move things on. Afterward, I completed the iBegin portal and entered the compensation details I had already discussed. There were few surprises, and the process felt smooth from start to finish. The final step was mainly confirming the CTC…

Intuit Software Engineer interview

The recruiter screen began casually with background and fit questions. They also asked for my views on AI, which felt more like checking my perspective than testing technical knowledge. That tone did not hold in every recruiter interaction. One recruiter became defensive when I was candid about my leveling expectations, and the exchange turned frustrating. In another recruiter-led rejection, the…

Meta Product Manager interview

After the recruiter stage, I had two timed, structured parts: product sense and product analytics. Product sense required a clear framework, while analytics tested how I interpreted and used data. The interviews resembled common mock formats, where I had to walk through an approach rather than have a free-form discussion. I used the framework I had prepared, but the analytics bar did not match wh…

Google Software Engineer interview

The process began with a background questionnaire and an online interview with DSA and behavioral rounds. The DSA question was practical rather than a typical LeetCode problem, and I handled it well. Affirm Software Engineer interview: finance-style coding and a timed technical screen

My online assessment felt like a finance-specific LeetCode problem. Afterward, I had a 30-minute recruiter screen about the role and logistics, including compensation, the actual work and cultural fit. It wasn't a particularly deep conversation, but it gave me an idea of what they wanted. Next came a technical screen where I shared my screen for a timed coding problem. I only saw the prompt when…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.

Likes must come from established accounts; like-for-like swaps and likes from your own second account are not paid.
