Spacex Software Engineer interview: first-principles and hardware-focused questions

The process started with a short recruiter call about my background, then turned technical almost immediately. The next call lasted about 30 minutes and felt grounded in first principles. I answered quick checks on fundamentals such as the ideal gas law and Bernoulli's equation, then moved into structures-style questions. Even when I did fine on the equations, it seemed they wanted tight, confide…

Volkswagen Group Italia Software Engineer interview: recruiter and business manager conversation

I began with a recruiter call that covered my background and set expectations for what would happen next. Later, I joined an online interview with a business manager. We discussed my experience and skills, and they also explained the company and its approach to learning and growth. I had about ten minutes to introduce myself, then they asked questions as the conversation continued. It felt like a…

Uber Drivers Software Engineer interview: time-boxed coding exam

I went through an online coding exam with medium-to-hard LeetCode-style questions. The format was tightly time-boxed: 45 minutes for each of three questions. It felt like a real test of both DSA fluency and time management. Even without an onsite, the exam itself carried a good amount of difficulty, and I did not move forward. I approached it knowing I needed to be efficient as well as correct. W…

Uber Software Engineer interview: three timed coding questions

My first major step was an online coding exam with medium-to-hard LeetCode-style questions. There were three questions, with 45 minutes for each one. I had previously tested myself for a fresher-level setup, so the structure did not completely blindside me, but the time pressure still mattered a lot. It tested DSA fundamentals and, honestly, how well I could manage my pace. I did not receive an o…

TikTok Product Manager interview: detailed resume and project drilling

After applying, I started with a recruiter conversation centered on my resume. The recruiter walked through it with me, and the interview team made it clear that I needed to know my own CV inside out. Later interviews went deeper into the projects I had listed. I got detailed follow-up questions about specific decisions, my reasoning, and what happened as a result. My sense was that the exact for…

Susquehanna International Group Quantitative Analyst interview: rushed probability questions before a mixed interview

After a recruiter call, I entered a timed, math-heavy process that felt focused on probability from the start. The next step was an online assessment made up mostly of probability questions, and it got harder as I went. I did not manage my time as well as I should have, so I rushed the last few questions just as the difficulty increased. Soon after, I had another interview that mixed behavioral a…

The HEINEKEN Data Analyst interview: cancellations and ghosted feedback

I ran into a bad side of the process: missing responses and cancellations without notice. In one stage, the manager interview was canceled without warning, and there was no response until I reached out. I also had conversations where I waited afterward and then simply heard nothing, as if they had stopped contacting me. In another stage, the recruiter seemed transparent at first and promised feed…

Thales Software Engineer interview: Noida OA to next-day college interviews

I was first shortlisted after an online assessment in a college setting in Noida. The assessment had 25 multiple-choice questions on CS fundamentals and aptitude, and I also worked through DSA questions on HackerEarth to reach the interview stage. The next day, I went to face-to-face interviews at the same college location. After the assessment, the day moved quickly into the interview portion. T…

Zoho Software Engineer interview: written C, Java, and coding rounds

My process started with a written, pen-and-paper round that mixed aptitude with C and some Java. It had a 10-question coding and output section, another 10 questions on IQ-style reasoning, and a full hour to complete everything. A short coding round followed with a handful of problems that felt more straightforward than the later work. The questions used common patterns such as arrays and pointer…

Wells Fargo Financial Analyst interview: HireVue to superday

After I applied, the process began with a virtual question screen that felt more like a proctored exam than a conversation. I was asked why I wanted the role and then answered many behavioral prompts. It was awkward more than difficult, and I wished it felt more human. That led into HireVue again before anything live. The early video rounds were not very technical; they were mostly open ended and…

Accenture Software Engineer interview: two-attempt conversational process

After a quick HR call about the hiring process and possible salary range, I moved into conversations that felt more conversational than intense. I had an hour-long discussion with a hiring manager and developers, focused mainly on background and fit rather than heavy technical grilling. They still wanted to understand how I approached work and what I had built. In another attempt, the process cam…

Scotiabank Financial Analyst interview: one-hour branch-manager round

After I applied and was shortlisted, I had a preliminary recruiter-style call that felt more like an eligibility and fit check than a deep interview. About a week later, I had the main round with branch managers, including one person who was also the team manager. The conversation lasted roughly an hour, and fortunately there were no further interviews. Most of the discussion was about my backgro…

FNZ Business Analyst interview: promised offer and lost follow-through

My experience with FNZ felt less like a clean interview and more like a process that drifted after I had already done the work. I made it through multiple rounds, technical and HR, and the recruiter collected documents and told me that an offer letter would be released. It looked as if things were moving forward. Then communication disappeared. I waited, followed up, and did not get the transpare…

Oracle Health Account Executive interview: mock call and behavioral steps

After speaking with the recruiter, the process felt relaxed and early stage. I expected sales-heavy questions, but the conversation was broader: who I was, my experience, what I wanted, and the basics of the account executive role. It felt like a real conversation rather than a grilling. About a week later, I moved into two interviews. The flow included a mock call and a behavioral component, and…

Resmed Software Engineer interview: practical transferable-experience discussion

I had a direct interview with the department manager and another representative. It was essentially one session, balanced between technical discussion and softer-skill questions. They connected their questions to the experience I had listed, using it to understand how I would apply similar thinking on the job. The tone was practical rather than theoretical, as if they were evaluating how transfer…

DoorDash Software Engineer interview: internal electric-motor design screening

It began with a phone call with the recruiter. She was specific about the kind of person she was looking for, then asked technical questions focused on internal electric-motor design knowledge. DoorDash Software Engineer interview: bilingual 30-minute recruiter call

After the recruiter contacted me, I had an initial conversation of about 30 minutes. The call began in Portuguese and then continued in English. DoorDash Software Engineer interview: durable refund DAG system design

The process was demanding from the start. After several rounds, I handled behavioral questions that, interestingly, matched my real experiences well. Cisco Software Engineer interview: OA programming barrier and design discussion

My process started with an online assessment and moved quickly into interview rounds, though I did not make it all the way through. When I was unsuccessful, the gap was clearly more about solving than simply understanding concepts. The interviews…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
