JP Morgan Chase Financial Analyst Interview Experience: A relaxed fit-focused loop

This felt like a standard interview loop, and the questions were more normal than I expected. I prepared for the usual themes, and the interviews centered on my background, why I was interested in the company, and other motivation prompts. Communication had a lot of back-and-forth, which helped me stay relaxed. I did not encounter difficult surprises or deep technical grilling. The conversations…

Josh Technology Group Software Engineer Interview Experience: 35 questions before a timed coding round

I entered the software-developer process through college recruitment. It all happened in one day across five rounds. First was an online technical assessment on Safe Exam Browser with 35 questions in 60 minutes. It mixed multiple-choice technical questions with subjective prompts tied to code snippets. I had to predict output, spot errors, and work through basic logic-style programming questions.…

Guidewire Software Software Engineer Interview Experience: Onsite scheduling broke down

After a recruiter call, I took an online assessment with two LeetCode-style questions, one easy and one medium. They felt straightforward. I then spoke with an engineering manager and, near the end, solved a simple coding problem and wrote tests. The feedback was immediately positive, and the manager said they wanted to see me onsite. The onsite scheduling was where it fell apart. I contacted the…

BCG Consultant Interview Experience: Switching from fit to interviewee-led cases

After recruiter outreach, I went through a bridge stage that led to a final-round invitation. The final stretch included an online technical assessment and case interviews: first one case, then two cases back to back. Behavioral questions filled the first half, while the case discussion took over in the second. The process was more demanding than it looked. I had to switch quickly from fit questi…

Salesforce Customer Success Engineer Interview Experience: HackerRank through techno-managerial

My process had three direct rounds. First came an online HackerRank coding session focused on problem-solving. Then I had a technical round that covered Stack versus Heap, debugging a snippet to find the cause of a NullPointerException, and HTTP methods. The final step was described as techno-managerial. That fit the overall process: I expected to show technical grounding while also explaining ho…

Rippling Account Executive Interview Experience: Structured mock call with managers

I applied and received a quick, positive response that let me choose a meeting time. The process began with a recruiter screen covering why I wanted sales, why Rippling, what the company does, and how my prior experience fit the role. I then spoke with hiring managers and reached a role-play mock-call stage. That portion was more structured and role-specific, and I did the mock call with managers…

Resmed Software Engineer Interview Experience: Retakes before the manager conversation

My interview process was short and straightforward. After the initial step, I had two video rounds: one allowed me to record and retry as needed, and another was an in-person conversation with my reporting manager. Both conversations were grounded in my resume and prior experience. They also looked at my willingness to learn and whether my technical ability matched the role. The first format allo…

L'Oréal Marketing Analytics Specialist Interview Experience: Collaborative group case

I enjoyed this process because it felt collaborative instead of purely transactional. After the recruiter stage, I did a group task where we worked through a case and presented what we came up with. The experience felt welcoming throughout and gave me a real view of how people might work together day to day. It was harder than a straightforward HR screen. The group format and presentation made me…

IBM Software Engineer Interview Experience: Resume reasoning and follow-ups

I was scheduled for an interview about a week after applying. The early conversation was fairly standard: I walked through my experience and qualifications, then answered technical questions tied to what I had put on my resume. Even when there was not much coding, it felt like they wanted to know whether I could connect my background to actual work. Behavioral questions were a major part of it. I…

NVIDIA Software Engineer Interview Experience: A two-month process with a home exam and C/C++ day interview

My process lasted roughly two months, with a lot of waiting between steps. I did not make it through, but I could see the overall shape of how they evaluated me. The sequence was simple: a home exam, a day interview, and then a manager interview. The home exam and day interview were the technical evaluation. The day interview included a C/C++ question, and the difficulty ranged from difficult to…

Capital One Product Manager Interview Experience: Power Day cases on A/B testing and profit optimization

After a recruiter screening call, the process quickly moved into a mini case on a Capital One product. I received charts, interpreted the data from an A/B-testing perspective, and then zoomed out to a UX review where I made recommendations from what I saw. About a day later, I had Power Day, a long series of interviews that mixed product skills, product discovery, and heavier case work. One part…

Nokia Software Engineer Interview Experience: C++, telecom questions, and an interactive panel

I had a conversation with a manager and engineers focused on C++ and general software-engineering knowledge. HR and the manager were in the room together, and the technical discussion felt grounded in what engineers actually do, at least to me. There were also telecom questions. That caught me off guard because telecom was new to me, but it did not feel as if they were trying to trick me. Another…

Meta Software Engineer Interview Experience: A fast coding loop with system design and values checks

The process began with a recruiter call, then continued through several rounds that mixed fast coding, system design, and behavioral checks. The coding loop was intense. I remember needing to solve problems quickly while also justifying my approach. Syst…

After a recruiter reached out, I started with an online assessment. Then I moved into the technical loop. The first coding sequence had two LeetCode problems, one easy and one medium. Google Software Engineer Interview Experience: A one-hour two-problem OA and eliminatory DSA rounds

This was a fast onsite-style process centered heavily on DSA. I started with an OA containing two data-structures-and-algorithms problems to solve in about an hour. The time pressure made it intense, and I noticed there was no audio or video proctoring. Then I went into the interview portion for the onsite opportunity. The interviews focused only on DSA, with medium-to-hard LeetCode-style problem…

Google Software Engineer Interview Experience: Median of two sorted arrays and autocomplete design

I expected the technical rounds to be tougher, but the interview felt much easier than I thought it would. Microsoft Software Engineer Interview Experience: Binary search first, then graph problems

I had an online assessment first, followed by two live coding interviews. The experience was pretty middle-of-the-road for me: not relaxed, but not chaotic either. I started with a recruiter conversation that felt more like a fit check than an interrogation. We discussed my interests and projects, the technologies I knew, and how I preferred to work. ALTEN México Software Engineer Interview Experience: A missed technical meeting and no response after two follow-ups

My process was very unprofessional. The first HR conversation was not a real interview: nobody assessed my skills. It was only a briefing about how the process would continue. I reported it immediately but received neither an apology nor an explanation for the time and preparation I had inves…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.

Share your own

Every published experience earns 50 XP, and each of the first 3 likes it receives in a day earns you 10 XP more. Likes must come from established accounts; like-for-like swaps and likes from your own second account are not paid. Write it while the details are fresh — the round order, the exact prompts, and how much time you were given are what the next reader needs.
