Wissen Infotech Software Engineer Interview Experience: DSA, SQL, and graph questions

The process was short and very technical. I had two rounds. In the first, I solved two DSA problems by writing actual code and explaining my approach. I also had to dry run the solution, so intuition alone was not enough. The final round had an ED-style format. I was asked about SQL and then worked through two more DSA questions, with graphs appearing in at least part of the problem framing. It f…

Renesas Software Engineer Interview Experience: Seniority mismatch after two rounds

I went through two rounds with Renesas, including an L2 technical interview. The conversations were professional, and the interviewers seemed knowledgeable. The discussion matched what I had presented, and I did not see a major red flag during the interviews. Nearly two weeks after the L2 round, I was told that my experience did not align because the role was for a more senior candidate. What bot…

Volkswagen Group Italia Software Engineer Interview Experience: No-show technical meeting

This recruitment experience felt extremely unprofessional from the first step. The initial HR conversation was not really an interview: there were no meaningful checks of my skills and no questions. It was mostly a briefing about what was meant to happen next. For the second technical meeting, I arrived on time and waited an hour, but no one showed up. I reported it immediately and received no ap…

TikTok Shop Software Engineer Interview Experience: A disputed reasoning path

I started strongly in the sense that I solved the main LeetCode problem as well as I could, but the interview quickly became uncomfortable. The interviewer kept pulling me into the details of what I said and how I justified it. What threw me off was that, after I gave what felt like a solid answer, the interviewer pushed a sub-optimal approach as the right direction. The repeated follow-ups made…

Visa Software Engineer Interview Experience: Repeated postponements before pair programming

I applied through Visa's careers site and started with an online assessment containing two coding questions focused on dynamic programming and the two-pointer technique. The interview process was where it fell apart. My first-round interview was postponed twice just before its scheduled start. On the third attempt, I joined and waited about 15 minutes before contacting the recruiter. They said th…

Veeva Systems Consultant Interview Experience: Mock project and executive presentation

After submitting my CV, I moved through a steady sequence: HR screening, an in-person interview, a presentation round, and an executive interview. The arc was clear: meet the team, show how I would handle a project, then meet leadership. The presentation was the biggest step. I received a mock project tied to their solution, had to work it out on my own, and then present it. It took real preparat…

UST Global Software Engineer Interview Experience: Four rounds and HR ghosting

This was my most frustrating process because of what happened after I invested so much time. I completed four interview rounds, including a face-to-face interview, and spent real effort and money on every stage expecting at least a clear update at the end. Instead, the HR team stopped responding. Calls and emails went silent after the final round. There was no rejection message and no outcome com…

UST Software Engineer Interview Experience: Multiple rounds followed by silence

My experience began with virtual interviews and turned into a frustrating stretch of silence. I had a video technical interview with a technical lead and team members, with HR and resources human involved in the same interview. I expected follow-up calls afterward, but contact was intermittent and eventually stopped. I never received a clear acceptance or rejection update, even after spending sub…

UBS Software Engineer Interview Experience: Intended offer cancelled in a hiring freeze

The process began unusually smoothly and went far enough that I thought it was essentially finished. I received verbal and email confirmation of an intended offer, and HR walked me through the compensation package. I submitted identification and onboarding documents and was told the relevant internal system approvals were complete. Then everything stalled. Hiring was stopped because of an interna…

Virtu Financial Quantitative Analyst Interview Experience: Probability coding before HR

After applying, I started with a HackerRank-style coding round. It combined basic probability with straightforward coding questions, and it felt manageable if I was comfortable with standard programming and probability fundamentals. An HR conversation followed, and that was where my process ended. I felt I had cleared the technical part cleanly, so being screened out after the recruiter call was…

Yochana Software Engineer Interview Experience: JavaScript, React, Node.js, and REST

After an HR screen, I had two technical rounds and then a managerial discussion. The process was smooth, with average difficulty. Nothing blindsided me, but it still called for solid problem-solving. During the technical rounds, I discussed project experience and answered questions about JavaScript, React, Node.js, REST API concepts, and database fundamentals. The interviewers focused on how I ap…

Wissen Technology Software Engineer Interview Experience: Java questions and two programs

My first interview with Wissen Technology was direct and focused. After a brief introduction, it moved quickly into Java questions and two Java programs for me to implement. The conversation lasted about an hour. It was a good experience overall. The pacing was not awkward, and nothing made me feel completely unprepared. I did not get an offer, but the round was clear and structured, and I unders…

AMD Software Engineer Interview Experience: Strings, arrays, and edge cases

My first round was a DSA-focused screen with two medium coding questions about strings and arrays. I felt they cared most about handling edge cases carefully, not just arriving at a working answer. The interview went smoothly, and the interviewer was helpful when I got stuck, which made the pace easier to handle. Overall, it was a positive experience. The questions followed a familiar clean-codin…

ADP Account Executive Interview Experience: Two efficient Zoom fit conversations

My interview moved quickly and had a clear structure. After a short recruiter call, I had a brief Zoom conversation that began with an overview of the role and moved into a prepared set of questions. It lasted about half an hour, so there was not much room to drift, and I appreciated that clarity. The next step was another efficient Zoom conversation with leadership. It stayed on basic fit and my…

Adobe Research Analyst Interview Experience: One-hour research conversation

After a recruiter touchpoint, I had one technical conversation with a team member. It lasted an hour and stayed mainly focused on the research I had already done and where I wanted to take it during the internship. The process moved quickly. Wells Fargo Software Engineer Interview Experience: Broad assessment and a condescending later call

After the recruiter stage, I took a HackerRank-style online assessment that combined multiple choice and coding. It focused on DSA and practical problem-solving. After speaking with the recruiter, the process felt pleasantly well run. They were helpful, explained what the role and team expected, and helped me frame my experience around the opportunity. I applied online for an SMB-focused AWS account executive role. The assessment went well, followed by two interviews and then an interview loop. Amazon Software Engineer Interview Experience: Coding, debugging, and behavioral checks

The early stages mixed quick screening with focused technical checks. I had a phone interview of about 45 minutes, split between behavioral questions and a coding problem with follow-ups. What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.

Share your own

Every published experience earns 50 XP, and each of the first 3 likes it receives in a day earns you 10 XP more. Likes must come from established accounts; like-for-like swaps and likes from your own second account are not paid. Write it while the details are fresh — the round order, the exact prompts, and how much time you were given are what the next reader needs.
