Northern Trust Financial Analyst interview: relaxed panel and behavioral fit

After I applied, the process felt smooth and laid-back. I spoke with a small panel, and the conversation was comfortable because the interviewers were kind and easy to talk to. Most questions were behavioral, aimed at understanding how I had worked before and handled different situations. They also wanted to hear what I knew about Northern Trust and my previous roles, but the discussion was not h…

Quest Global Software Engineer interview: walk-in exam, Bengaluru rounds, and virtual HR

The process began with walk-in registration and an online written exam. I was then shortlisted for face-to-face rounds in Bengaluru and traveled there for the interviews. It felt like a sequence of filters: I cleared an initial technical round, then the next one, and eventually reached HR. The HR part was virtual, and the whole process was driven by timing. Once I was shortlisted, scheduling move…

PRICE WATERHOUSE COOPERS Consultant interview: five rounds, case study, and partner discussion

I went through a long, tightly sequenced process with five rounds, each involving two people. It began informally, then moved into behavioral questions and a case study. After I completed the case, senior managers interviewed me again. The pace accelerated after the case. I took a 60-minute test and then ended with a final conversation with partners. The process was difficult because of both the…

Oracle Software Engineer interview: panel rounds and a quick offer

The process felt smooth and organized, and it did not start with technical questions. I first had a screening-style call where the team explained what to expect and set the context. After that, I moved to team interviews that focused more directly on what I could do. I completed two panel rounds, one technical and one behavioral, with questions aligned to the team's interests. The technical panel…

Optum Software Engineer interview: walk-in technical rounds and reversed selection message

I attended a walk-in drive with two technical interviews, each roughly 1 to 1.5 hours. Both sessions went well, and the content felt solid. The frustrating part was the communication afterward. An HR representative told me I had been selected and that the hiring HR would contact me with next steps. Soon after I started going home, the same person called back to say my profile had been put on hold…

MongoDB Software Engineer interview: Karat screen and inconsistent next steps

I began with a recruiter conversation and then went straight to a Karat technical interview. The Karat portion had only a small number of questions, but it was clearly a serious gate. Mine focused on LeetCode-style problems, and I did not pass that stage. What disappointed me was that the process did not end immediately after Karat. Another technical round was still scheduled, which made the flow…

Quantium Data Analyst interview: technical assessment and behavioral video interview

After applying, I received a technical assessment that took about an hour. It covered Python, SQL, R, and statistics, and felt like a focused basics check rather than an overly tricky test. A little later, I completed a behavioral video interview. It began with introductions and moved into behavioral questions where I had to support my examples, including examples of initiative. Toward the end, I…

Revolut Software Engineer interview: distributed systems and opaque system design

The process started smoothly with a recruiter screen and technical rounds rooted in practical distributed-systems patterns. I cleared several early stages, but I did not get through the system design interview. That round was difficult because I could not tell what the interviewer wanted me to emphasize or how quickly to move through the discussion. The earlier coding and technical work was concr…

Virtusa Software Engineer interview: online assessment, abbreviated technical round, and HR

My interview followed a standard order: an online assessment, then a technical interview, and finally HR. The screening checked problem solving and programming fundamentals, while the later steps were more about technical fit and communication. OOPS concepts were a large part of the technical round. The session started late and ended quickly, so it did not get far beyond what they needed to cover…

Virtusa Software Engineer interview: Java, architecture, and HR rounds

I went through two technical rounds followed by a final HR conversation. The technical questions repeatedly returned to the details on my resume rather than staying at a surface level. The topics leaned toward programming fundamentals and Java-centered systems: OOPS concepts and language features, microservices design and patterns, authentication, and multithreading. I also faced coding questions…

Veeva Systems Consultant interview: strong feedback and a prolonged no-offer process

The core stages took exactly one month and were packed. I started with an introductory call with the manager, then had a job-history interview and a home assignment with one week to complete it. I presented my solution in a meeting, and the process continued with an interview with the practice director. I passed each stage with strong feedback, so I was genuinely optimistic. Still, no offer came.…

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (Dtcc) Business Analyst interview

After a recruiter phone screen, I spoke with the hiring manager. Those conversations felt normal, and I expected to hear something soon after. Instead, the process turned into frustrating silence. The recruiter stopped responding to requests for updates, and more than a month passed after the final interview without a meaningful response. The earlier steps had felt fine, but the lack of follow-up…

Tesla Software Engineer ML coding interview

My first real technical step was an ML coding interview. I had to implement a standard machine-learning algorithm with numpy and explain core ML fundamentals. The prompt was not obscure, but its details were tricky enough to test whether I understood basics rather than only buzzwords. It felt easy overall because the subject was fundamental and the scope was clear. Still, I had to be precise with…

Sysco Account Executive interview with no follow-up

After completing interview steps, I never got real closure. Things initially seemed promising, but the follow-up did not come. Scheduling was deliberate from the beginning. After applying, I received an email with the process details and a study case to prepare before interviewing. Xccelerated Software Engineer interview on Java, Kafka, and DSA

The process was pleasantly straightforward and not overly stressful. I completed roughly three to four rounds, with a positive overall tone and average difficulty. After applying, I completed a HireVue-style video pre-screen. I answered prerecorded prompts on camera with only a short window to prepare. What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.

Share your own

Every published experience earns 50 XP, and each of the first 3 likes it receives in a day earns you 10 XP more. Likes must come from established accounts; like-for-like swaps and likes from your own second account are not paid. Write it while the details are fresh — the round order, the exact prompts, and how much time you were given are what the next reader needs.
