Accenture España Software Engineer interview experience: a mismatched final assessment

The process started normally. The technical interview covered core JavaScript and React, including hooks, reconciliation, HOCs, performance patterns, and some architecture discussion. Then I had a managerial-style round about past projects and how I would fit on a team. After clearing both interviews, I received an online assessment covering React, React Native, and Angular. The role was clearly…

Accenture España Software Engineer Interview Experience: DSA basics, OOP, DBMS, and communication testing

The experience felt straightforward and lower-pressure than I expected. After the early screening steps, the rounds focused on project discussion and basics such as data structures and algorithms, OOP, and DBMS. The interviewer was polite, spoke slowly and clearly, and asked questions that matched the skills on my resume. One part used a larger assessment setup with cognitive-style tasks and tech…

Accenture España Software Engineer interview with Databricks AutoLoader

My interview centered on Databricks and PySpark. I started with an online assessment containing Databricks MCQs and a PySpark coding question. The virtual interview then covered Databricks specifics, including AutoLoader, followed by another PySpark problem. The final in-office interview went further into product-style concepts. I discussed my data-processing experience and answered questions on…

Accenture España Consultant interview with supplier-selection case study

I started with an HR interview that immediately included a case study about choosing a supplier company for a client. There were three options: one high-priced firm with junior talent, another high-priced firm with senior talent, and a third option in the middle. The case felt like a real consulting judgment call rather than a simple technical problem. It was difficult because there was no obviou…

Accenture España Software Engineer interview with Java and Redis

I had two main rounds and found the process technical and tougher than average. The first was an assessment with two coding questions. The second was a deeper technical interview covering Java, microservices, Redis, DSA-style coding, and Java Streams. The interviewers seemed serious about evaluating actual problem solving. It felt challenging because I had to work through details, rather than bec…

Accenture España Software Engineer Interview Experience: DSA, cognitive MCQ, and AI communication assessment

I started with resume screening and then moved through technical steps with clear expectations. The technical rounds included basic DSA coding and fundamentals discussion. The process felt professional, and the interviewers were easy to understand because they stated expectations plainly. Later assessments covered coding and communication. I took a timed cognitive-style MCQ test and a smaller cod…

Accenture España Full Stack Engineer interview: changed salary and work arrangement

A recruiter first discussed the role, salary range, and an expected home-office arrangement because I lived far from the office. I then interviewed with a manager, and another recruiter later told me I had been approved. After approval, the terms changed. The salary was lower than originally discussed, and home office became hybrid. I was told after internal alignment that the original conditions…

Accenture España Software Engineer interview with programming and SQL test

After applying, I entered a friendly, structured process. The early conversation covered me and my background, including volunteer work and an internship, my programming languages and tools, how the company is organized, and its benefits. I then completed an online test in my own time. It covered basic programming, object-oriented programming, SQL fundamentals, and logical reasoning rather than p…

Accenture España Software Engineer interview: unconfirmed invitations and tracking confusion

The process was more memorable for its confusion than its technical questions. Evaluation problems felt unclear and unnecessary, and invitations arrived without seeming to lead to anything concrete. I spent a lot of time waiting and checking what was happening. At one point, an assessment and interview were scheduled, but I never received confirmation or an update that made me confident the inter…

Software Engineer interview at Accenture España: smooth early rounds

I had an HR round and a business round, and the process wrapped up in about two weeks. It was straightforward, and I left feeling I had performed well. I was not selected, though the rejection communication was professional. Elsewhere in the process, delays and logistics problems showed how inconsistent the candidate experience could be. I came away feeling that confidence in the interviews did n…

Accenture España Consultant interview: practical SAP FICO work

I went through a technical, SAP-focused process. The interviewer went into SAP FICO topics such as group reporting and central finance, and the discussion required real problem solving instead of staying theoretical. Case studies asked me to analyze a situation and explain it technically. Business-process knowledge also mattered. I was asked about the Order-to-Cash cycle: sales-order processing,…

Consultant interview at Accenture España

Scheduling became frustrating almost immediately. I was arranged through WhatsApp, then left waiting by the assigned recruiter without notice. I later learned that I had effectively been dropped because I could not join an unplanned surprise call. It happened in other forms too: I was invited to an interview where nobody appeared, and follow-up email brought no clear explanation. In one case an A…

Accenture España Consultant interview: salary expectations stopped the process

The recruiter call went fine at first and the process seemed to be moving. It stopped immediately after I shared my salary expectations. The recruiter did not negotiate or explore a range. It felt as though the compensation gap alone ruled me out. Given my background in new technology, the figure they had in mind was less than half of what I had been offered in parallel processes. That made the d…

Accenture España Software Engineer interview: a month of scheduling and silence

The interviews were not my biggest issue. I was left hanging afterward. Scheduling dragged on, and I had to keep booking slots almost every week for nearly a month before anything was set. After I finished the interview, HR did not give me a meaningful response. My emails went unanswered, and nobody picked up my phone calls. Even after I completed rounds and document verification, I still had no…

Accenture España Software Engineer interview with unanswered follow-up after assessment

I went through several stages, and the interviews themselves did not feel like the main problem. The communication afterward did. After completing the assessment and technical interview, I received no real follow-up or next steps. Eventually, my application status changed to "No Longer Under Consideration," and I got an email saying the position was closed, without a clear explanation of why. Tha…

Accenture España Consultant Interview Experience: assessment, group case, and final interview

The selection process had several distinct stages: an individual assessment, a group discussion, a first round case interview, and a final interview. The group discussion was a consulting exercise, and the discussion itself was part of the evaluation. During that session, a staff member introduced a consulting case study and I worked through it in the group conversation. Later I had to present th…

Accenture España Software Engineer Python frameworks and multiple coding exercises

I expected a mix of discussion and hands-on evaluation, and that was what I got. I first discussed my project experience, then moved into technical questions about Python and related frameworks and concepts. We covered Django, FastAPI, Pandas, object-oriented programming, and APIs. The coding portion involved multiple Python exercises designed to test problem solving. The pace made me slow down a…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.

Share your own

Every published experience earns 50 XP, and each of the first 3 likes it receives in a day earns you 10 XP more. Likes must come from established accounts; like-for-like swaps and likes from your own second account are not paid. Write it while the details are fresh — the round order, the exact prompts, and how much time you were given are what the next reader needs.
