Amazon DSP Software Engineer interview with four coding loop rounds

The process followed a familiar Amazon pattern: a recruiter screen, then a time-boxed technical screen with behavioral questions first and a dedicated coding block after that. It ended with time for my questions. The final loop had four technical-style rounds. I solved data structures and algorithms problems in a shared coding environment while explaining my reasoning and trade-offs. Every round…

Amazon Advertising Software Engineer interview with linked-list screen

I was glad I went through the Amazon process, even though I eventually declined the offer. The phone screen began with two easy technical questions: reversing a linked list and explaining the difference between TCP and UDP. The final round included a behavioral question about project ownership. I felt more prepared because I had access to a company-specific question bank on PracHub, and my confid…

Amazon Advertising Software Engineer interview with back-to-back DSA rounds

I had two back-to-back interviews, first with a hiring manager and then with an engineer from the team. Each lasted about 60 minutes. For roughly the first 15 minutes, I answered behavioral questions, and the rest was DSA. That split made the mental switch obvious. I had to move from narrative examples and decision making to DSA problem solving for most of each session. The process felt difficult…

Amazon Advertising Software Engineer interview with five final interviews

My process began with a recruiter screen and then a one-hour technical screen split between behavioral questions and coding. It immediately tested whether I could communicate while solving. The final loop had five interviews. In the first three, I solved data-structures-and-algorithms problems in a shared coding environment while explaining my approach, then answered behavioral questions about Am…

Automatic Data Processing Account Executive Interview Experience: recruiter no-show and delayed feedback

The process looked as though it would go smoothly at first, but the timing and communication soured it. I had gone through a couple of interviews out of college and did not get the role. That was disappointing but fair. About two years later, a recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn to reconnect and set up an interview. The recruiter then failed to show up without an explanation, which felt unprofess…

& General Intuition Software Engineer interview with AI coding round

I started with an HR call, then about a week later had a 45-minute online coding interview. That felt like the core screen: solve the problem live and explain my thinking as I went. I was then invited to the Sunnyvale office for an onsite loop. The onsite was a fuller day with a group discussion, system design, an AI-coding-style interview, and a wrap-up discussion. It tested more than one narrow…

ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer interview with book system design

I had a face-to-face loop with four rounds. It began with two DSA questions, one on binary search and one on binary trees. Next came an LLD round where I designed a book management system, followed by a hiring-manager round and a leadership round. The leadership questions were closely tied to leadership principles, and those themes also came up in the technical rounds. I received an offer. My ove…

Accenture Technology Software Engineer Interview Experience: DSA, scripting, and AI tools basics

I had what felt like a straightforward interview process. I began with a brief introduction about myself, then the interviewer explained the job description and what the role involved. The questions moved to simple scenario prompts. The tone was easygoing. The interviewer was kind and spoke slowly enough that I didn't feel rushed. The discussion stayed mostly on basics: data structures and algori…

Accenture in India Software Engineer Interview Experience: 90 MCQs and virtual panel

My first stages were assessment focused, before any live interaction. I began with a cognitive and technical assessment of 90 MCQs in 90 minutes, followed by a coding assessment with two to three programming questions. Next came an AI driven communication test that combined voice and text. Only after those steps did I reach a combined technical and HR interview in a short virtual panel. The diffi…

Accenture in India Software Engineer Interview Experience: polite scenario-based role discussion

The interview was comfortable from the start. The interviewer was polite, asked for a short introduction, and explained the job description and role expectations. The discussion then moved to scenario-based questions. It was less technical than many interviews and focused on how I would respond in realistic situations and think through the context. I did not receive an offer, but the experience w…

ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer Interview Experience: two 60 minute in person rounds

I started with HR questions soon after applying, then moved into tightly scheduled in person sessions. The loop had two back to back rounds: one with a hiring manager and one with an engineer. Each lasted about 60 minutes. The first 15 minutes of each were behavioral, and the remaining time was for DSA. The DSA portion carried the usual expectation to explain my thinking clearly. The format place…

Accenture in India Software Engineer Interview Experience: 90-question assessment and AI communication panel

The process was staged. First came a cognitive and technical assessment with 90 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes, followed by a coding assessment with two to three programming problems. Next was a communication assessment that used AI for voice and text. Only then did I reach a combined technical and HR virtual panel lasting 15 to 30 minutes. I did not receive an offer, but the structure w…

A healthcare technology Business Analyst Interview Experience: microphone troubleshooting and SQL

My interview began with the usual conversation basics, then quickly became a mix of communication, role fit, and practical technical checks. I introduced myself, discussed what I enjoyed outside work, location preferences, whether I could handle shift work, and my willingness to relocate. On the technical side, I was asked fundamentals and small scenario prompts. One question was what I would do…

Industry-Leading National Security Consultancy Software Engineer Interview Experience: job description alignment

After a recruiter screening, I had a technical discussion and then a final HR round. The format was simple and professional, and it felt organized from the beginning. Across the rounds, the questions kept returning to my background and how I approached problem solving instead of trying to catch me off guard. The process took a long time and felt somewhat difficult as it built up. I came away with…

ASM Software Engineer Interview Experience: low-pressure presentation and management discussion

The first round gave me an early sense that this would be a low-pressure process. It wasn't technical grilling. I mainly described my previous job and discussed what the role would involve. Shortly afterward, I had a final conversation with top management. It leaned toward explanation and discussion rather than trying to catch me with specific technical questions. The tone stayed straightforward…

Amazon DSP Software Engineer Interview Experience: timed OA with debugging and work hypotheticals

The online assessment was where I really struggled. I received an invitation to an OA for graduates, and the first programming task had an absurdly short time limit. A large part of it went just to reading and understanding the question. The second test was more reasonable, but the first hurdle had already changed my pace. In a similar OA setup, there was a standard DSA test, an AI-assisted codin…

Amazon Advertising Software Engineer Interview Experience: graduates OA with extreme first-task timing

I received an OA invite for a graduates program, and the timing was extreme. The first programming challenge had such a reduced window that I spent much of it reading and understanding the prompt rather than building a solution. The second test was more reasonable. The experience was very difficult for me, and I did not move forward to an offer. The bottleneck was not only coding ability. It was…

After applying, I received a virtual OA with several DSA problems that began easy and became much harder at the end. It felt like a test of endurance and correctness. The Zoom technical interview had a 30-minute LeetCode-medium coding segment followed by a 30-minute behavioral segment. I had to switch quickly between writing and discussing past work. The difficulty felt average. I did not receive…

Amazon Services Software Engineer Interview Experience: Calculator prompt without requirements

The process was frustrating. In one early call, the hiring manager seemed to have reviewed my resume around the time of the interview. Another stage was a video phone screen with Leadership-Principles behavioral questions a…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
