Manpower Belgium Consultant interview: a verbal offer later rescinded

Things moved quickly at first. Once I received a verbal offer, I expected the next steps to follow, but instead I was left waiting and felt ignored. I later learned that the offer had been withdrawn. The explanation was that my salary expectations didn't match what another candidate would accept. That was discouraging after the early progress. I came away feeling I couldn't rely on the process, e…

Manpower Belgium Consultant interview: recruiter, director cases and partner discussion

There were three clear stages. I first spoke with a recruiter, then met a director and worked through case prompts. The final conversation was with a partner. The format was manageable because each meeting had a defined purpose. The early discussion was mainly about fit, the middle stage concentrated on cases, and the partner conversation seemed to bring those parts together. I knew what each ste…

Lam Research Software Engineer interview: code analysis, project presentation and a director round

After a recruiter screen, I had a technical discussion where I analyzed sample code. It felt like a direct way to assess how I read an implementation and reasoned about it. About a week into the process, I went through a structured three-round loop. The hiring-manager screen covered my technical background and some behavioral questions. The onsite technical stage included a presentation about my…

JOHNSON HEALTH TECH TRADING Software Engineer interview: engineers and a virtual panel

An interview was arranged quickly after I applied, and I met two engineers. They were friendly and straightforward, asking about my experience, projects and interests. It felt like a conversation about fit. A little later, I had a second, virtual round with the hiring decision-maker and other team members. That interview was more of a panel discussion, covering my resume, how I'd approach the wor…

Johnson & Johnson Software Engineer interview: remote panels and a slow finish

After applying, I started with an HR-style screening call about my interests and compensation. Further interviews were remote on Microsoft Teams, and the sequence felt organized. The second conversation had more of a panel format. I met several team members alongside the person leading the hiring decision. We discussed my experience and how it fit the role. The questions were friendly, direct and…

Kohl's Account Executive interview: two practical conversations and pay expectations

The first recruiter-style call was light and practical. We discussed my availability, why I wanted to work at Kohl's, and my strengths and weaknesses. The recruiter also described some of the day-to-day work. It was low-stress. A short time later, I had another quick remote conversation. It covered standard questions and basic fit, with nothing especially technical or difficult. What mattered mos…

Prime Video Software Engineer interview: STAR stories and networking depth

The recruiter-style phone screen started with my background and became more probing as it went on. I described my current experience and projects, and each answer brought questions about why I'd made particular choices. Using STAR helped organize my stories, though the follow-ups became increasingly technical. I also answered networking questions about TCP/IP, OSPF and BGP. More structured interv…

RBC Software Engineer interview: coding assessment and a project-focused final round

After speaking with a recruiter, I took a technical screen with LeetCode-style problems on a coding assessment. One felt easy and a couple were medium. A little later, I had further rounds combining deeper discussion with technical evaluation. The final part focused on what I'd built and how it worked. I discussed my projects and familiar tech stack, answered targeted technical questions and then…

NBCUniversal Marketing Analytics Specialist interview: a promising start and silence

A recruiter contacted me, and I moved straight into first-round interviews. The conversations felt good, with nothing awkward, and I came away optimistic. Then communication stopped. I waited, followed up and still received no reply. I began to wonder whether the role was no longer moving forward or the process had stalled internally. The smooth beginning made the ending feel anticlimactic. I nev…

Motive Account Executive interview: manager discussion and a promised quick decision

After an initial screening call, I spoke with a sales development manager. The recruiter said I should hear a decision within about 24 hours. A third interview would follow if I advanced. The sequence felt clear and tightly organized: screen, manager, then potentially one more round. The speed and how much each step mattered made it feel difficult, even though the process was straightforward. I h…

Publicis Sapient Software Engineer interview: technical questions and an uncomfortable tone

The first round was a face-to-face technical interview. I could answer the questions, which were fairly straightforward. What bothered me was that the interviewer kept giggling while I spoke. It made the setting feel disrespectful and uncomfortable. I tried to stay focused and finish my answers, but the repeated reactions left me feeling I wasn't being taken seriously. The technical content itsel…

Snowflake Computing Account Executive interview: requested references and no follow-up

A sales director in Brazil posted on LinkedIn looking for Account Executives. I messaged her with my CV and pointed out that there wasn't a job link or formal posting to apply through. She asked for an English CV, an English cover letter and references from a previous line manager, mentioning WhatsApp as well. She explained that the global hiring leaders were overseas, so English mattered. She ha…

Snowflake Account Executive interview: direct outreach without a clear application path

I contacted a sales leader directly on LinkedIn after seeing her post. There was no job description or application link, so I didn't have a clear formal process to follow. She asked for my CV in English, a reference contact and an English cover letter. She said English would be needed because global leadership would take part in hiring. I resent my CV with the cover letter and references, then he…

Schneider Electric Software Engineer interview: Distribution Center digitization

I met a panel of two managers and an HR representative in a conference room in Athens. After introducing myself, I described projects I'd led during internships and contract work. Rubrik Account Executive interview: several meetings in a few days

The process gained momentum quickly, with several stages packed into a few days. I had three face-to-face conversations and then a final session. Technical interviews followed fairly quickly after my recruiter call. In one screen, I shared my screen, built some logic live and explained it while answering follow-ups. Susquehanna International Group Quantitative Analyst interview: optimization and timed assessments

The assessments made runtime and optimization as important as getting the answer right. I took an OA and then a general coding assessment covering hash maps, binary search, queues and heap operations. What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
